Solvay Silica is a highly dispersible silica based on the precipitated process,
used across a broad range of fields including tires and industrial rubber, agrochemicals and feed, toothpaste, food, and inks and paints.
Depending on particle form, it is classified into Powder (1–100µm) · Micropearl (MP, 200–300µm) · Granule (GR, 1–5cm).
Main Applications
Used as a reinforcing filler that is compounded with rubber to enhance abrasion resistance, tear strength, tensile strength and durability. Applied in tires, shoe soles, conveyor belts, sealants, latex and more.
Used as a carrier that turns liquid raw materials, which are difficult to handle and meter, into stable powders.
Used to improve the cleaning power and feel of toothpaste through its excellent abrasive action and viscosity-control properties.
Used as an anti-caking agent that prevents powdered foods from clumping (caking) and improves their dispersibility.
Used for viscosity maintenance and gloss control (matting).
